The annual Leeds Pride parade returns to Leeds City Centre on the 4th. There’ll be over 130 floats in this year’s parade! The parade will kick off at Millennium Square and make its way to Lower Briggate where there’ll be live performances from Tulisa, Robin S, Sandi Thom and more. It’s Yorkshires biggest celebration of LGBT! We’ll also be there… we’ve hired a barge to take us from Granary Wharf up to Knostrop and back!
This one is for all the Whitney Houston fans as Whitney – Queen of the Night is heading to Millennium Square on the 9th. You can sing along to all the classics such as I Wanna Dance With Somebody, I Will Always Love You and I’m Every Woman. Head here to buy tickets.
The Bank Holiday weekend in August means one thing… Leeds Festival! Every year thousands of people travel to Bramham Park to enjoy an impressive line-up of acts. This year headliners include Post Malone, Foo Fighters and The 1975 plus there’ll be many more performing across various stages. To make the most out of the experience many people camp so it’s a fun way to spend the Bank Holiday with your friends. Let’s hope for good weather!

Leeds West Indian Carnival
Another popular event in Leeds this August in the Leeds West Indian Carnival – it’s one of the longest running carnivals of its kind in Europe! You can enjoy the celebration of Caribbean Culture on the Bank Holiday weekend in Chapeltown and Harehills. Expect music, masquerade processions and plenty of spectacular costumes.
