If you’re a meat lover you need to check out this Argentinian restaurant in Granary Wharf overlooking the River Aire. It’s a brilliant experience as servers carve the meat right in front of your eyes! For their unique dining experience you receive a card with a red and a green side. Red means you don’t want any interruptions and green means you’re ready to be served. The set menu is £34.50, and you can get all the meat you want!

Matt Healy The Foundry

Matt Healy was a runner up in Masterchef the Professionals and now has his own restaurant in Leeds! The menu has a wide range of delicious meat and fish dishes for you to choose from. The menu has recently been updated so you’re bound to find something you like. The restaurant is known for its quality of food, freshness of ingredients and relaxing atmosphere.

Shears Yard

Shears Yard is an independent restaurant on The Calls. You have the choice of a tasting menu, brunch, lunch or dinner for a variety of flavoursome foods and fine dining meals. It has a unique interior with exposed brickwork and beams and a high ceiling which makes it a relaxing place to socialise. The staff are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable of the food.


For the steak lovers, Gaucho is one of the best restaurants for you to try. You can sample their beef which comes all the way from Argentina or try something a little closer to home as the lamb and chicken are produced from local areas. The staff will happily show off their expertise and answer any questions you have about the meat.

Gino D’Acampo

It’s named after the famous TV chef who brought his Italian restaurant to the heart of the food and drink scene in Leeds. There are lots of classic Italian dishes to choose from including pizzas full of different toppings and a plethora of pastas. There is something for everyone!
