Leeds has plenty of cocktail bars to offer, which makes for a great day or night out. Greek Street, Park Row, Call Lane and Lower Briggate are just some of the many streets in the city that have bars with unique cocktails. So we thought we’d give you a selection of what we think are the best cocktail bars in Leeds.

The Alchemist

Popular bar, The Alchemist, is of course included in our selection. There are two bars in Leeds City Centre, one at the top of Trinity and the other at the bottom of Greek Street. The Alchemist in Trinity hosts great views of the city which you can enjoy whilst drinking one of their many fancy cocktails. The Alchemist are masters of mixology with each drink having a unique presentation, smell and taste. They really do stand by their trademark – Theatre served. Our favourite cocktail is The Colour Changing One.

Tiki Hideaway

Tiki Hideaway is hidden away on Call Lane in the Call Lane Social bar. You’ll feel almost as though you have transported to a tropical island- surrounded by bamboo beach huts, fairy lights and coconut drinks. Their cocktails stick with the Tiki theme, so you can choose from Mai Tais, Pina Colada, Daiquiris and more! Our favourite is the Zombie.

Neighbourhood

Neighbourhood is located on Greek Street in the heart of Leeds’ food and drink scene. The venue comes alive at night when live DJs perform. Their trendsetting cocktails come with something extra to make the drink ever more special, including candyfloss, sweets and a disco ball. For us, their best cocktail is 52nd street.

Revolucion De Cuba

Travel to an exotic destination in Leeds (also known as Revolucion De Cuba.) Located on Call Lane, you can enjoy some of the finest rum in the world from Africa, the Caribbean to North America and beyond. Also there are classic Cuban cocktails such as Cuba Libre and Mojito. Carnival Tropicana is by far the best on the menu.

Mojo

The rum and cocktail bar Mojo, is located on Merrion Street. You can enjoy classic cocktails including Zombies and Margaritas or you can be adventurous and try one of their own concoctions such as Rhubarb, Rhubarb, Rhubarb (as you can probably guess, this one contains a lot of Rhubarb.) It also has outside seating which you can take advantage of when the suns out. Our favourite cocktail is the El Presidente.
